EDM Mall, short for East Delhi Mall, is one of the older shopping and entertainment landmarks on the Delhi-Ghaziabad border. Located at Kaushambi opposite the Anand Vihar transport hub, the mall first opened in December 2004 and was among the early large-format malls to serve East Delhi, Kaushambi, Vaishali and nearby Ghaziabad. Although newer malls have opened across the NCR, EDM remains useful because of its transport-friendly location, PVR multiplex, fashion stores, food outlets and family entertainment.

The property has also undergone renovation and tenant changes over the years, so old online directories can be misleading. Current and recent listings confirm active stores such as Pantaloons, Max Fashion and Trends Footwear, along with Domino’s, McDonald’s and Pizza Hut. PVR is actively screening films, while 7D Masti adds another entertainment option. Visitors going for one particular brand should still confirm it before travelling.

EDM Mall is at Plot No. 1 on Kaushambi Road in Ghaziabad, immediately across the Delhi-Uttar Pradesh border from the Anand Vihar side of East Delhi. The location is often described as Kaushambi, Anand Vihar or opposite Anand Vihar ISBT because all three references are commonly used for this border area.

For cabs and autos, the safest destination is “EDM Mall, Kaushambi, Ghaziabad” rather than only “East Delhi Mall,” because the word East Delhi can make drivers assume the property is inside Delhi. Anand Vihar Terminal, the ISBT and Kaushambi Metro are useful nearby transport landmarks.

Shops and Brands at EDM Mall

The mall’s tenant mix has changed significantly since its early years. Current or recent verifiable retail names include Pantaloons on the ground floor, Max Fashion on the first floor and Trends Footwear. Kiaasa also has a long-term retail lease inside the mall. Fashion, footwear, accessories, beauty and smaller speciality stores make up the rest of the shopping mix.

Older directories should be used carefully. A full-format Shoppers Stop department store was associated with EDM for years, but more recent information indicates that the old showroom should not automatically be assumed to be operating in the same form. Shoppers Stop’s company disclosures did, however, report opening an SS Fragrance store at EDM Mall in 2025. This is a good example of why visitors should check the exact current outlet rather than rely on an old mall directory.

EDM Mall Timing

General mall listings commonly show EDM Mall open from around 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM throughout the week. Individual retailers can follow shorter schedules. For example, current listings place Pantaloons and Max Fashion closing earlier than the latest cinema shows, while restaurants can follow their own last-order times.

PVR operates according to the film schedule and can have shows continuing well beyond normal retail hours. Visitors arriving near opening or closing time should therefore check the exact store, restaurant, activity or movie booking instead of assuming that every part of the mall follows one schedule.

Restaurants and Food Options

EDM Mall has a practical mix of fast food and food-court dining. Domino’s Pizza is currently operating on the ground floor and lists hours until around 11:00 PM. McDonald’s also operates on the ground floor, while Pizza Hut is listed in the third-floor food court. These outlets make it easy to combine a quick meal with shopping or a movie.

Food outlets can become busy around evening movie timings and weekends. A family planning dinner before a film should keep enough time for ordering, seating and cinema security. Individual restaurant hours, offers and last orders can change even when the mall itself remains open.

Cinema and Entertainment

PVR EDM is one of the mall’s strongest attractions and remains active in 2026. The cinema is a three-screen multiplex and current ticket listings show regular Hindi and English releases, including morning and late-night shows. Available facilities include food and beverage service, mobile tickets, parking, wheelchair-friendly access and cancellation on eligible bookings.

EDM Mall also has 7D Masti, which runs short 7D ride-style movie experiences. Current booking listings show multiple sessions through the afternoon and evening. This is different from a normal feature-film screening and is better suited to visitors looking for a short amusement activity. Session availability and timings should be checked on the day.

Connectivity to EDM Mall

By Metro

Kaushambi Metro Station on the Delhi Metro Blue Line is one of the most convenient metro references for EDM Mall and is roughly around a kilometre away by road in commonly used route listings. Anand Vihar Metro Station and the wider Anand Vihar transport complex are also close to the mall, but the most convenient walking or road route can depend on the exit and border-side traffic.

Visitors carrying bags, travelling with children or arriving in hot or rainy weather may find a short e-rickshaw or auto ride easier than walking. The Blue Line provides direct connections towards East Delhi and central Delhi, with interchange options for the wider Metro network.

By Bus

Anand Vihar ISBT is one of Delhi’s major interstate bus terminals and sits in the immediate wider area. Local and NCR buses also serve Kaushambi, Anand Vihar, Vaishali and the border roads. Passengers should confirm whether their bus actually enters the ISBT or uses a roadside boarding point near EDM Mall, because private bus pickup locations can differ from the official terminal.

By Road, Auto or Cab

The mall is accessible from Kaushambi Road and the Delhi-UP border road network linking Anand Vihar, Ghazipur, Vaishali, Sahibabad and Indirapuram. Autos, e-rickshaws and app-based cabs are widely available. Border traffic, bus movement and office-hour congestion can slow the last part of the journey, particularly in the evening.

By Railway and Air

Anand Vihar Terminal is the nearest major railway reference and is especially convenient for trains using the East Delhi terminal. Ghaziabad Junction and New Delhi Railway Station are alternatives depending on the train.
